Welcome to Daviniss Real Estate. By registering as a real estate agent on our platform, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions, as well as the laws and regulations governing real estate transactions in Nigeria. Please read carefully.

1. Registration and Account

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
  • You agree to update your information when there are changes to ensure compliance with Nigerian legal requirements.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to register, in accordance with Section 29 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • You confirm that you possess the necessary licenses and certifications as stipulated under the laws governing real estate practice in Nigeria.

3. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

  • You agree to adhere to all relevant laws, including the Land Use Act (1978), the Nigerian Urban and Regional Planning Act, and local regulations affecting real estate transactions.
  • All property listings and transactions must comply with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and any applicable state legislation.

4. Property Listings

  • Property descriptions must be accurate and updated regularly. Any misrepresentation is a violation of Section 39 (Right to Freedom of Expression) but must not breach laws against misleading or deceptive advertising.
  • You agree not to list properties you do not have the authority to represent or that infringe on any proprietary rights.

5. Ethical Conduct

  • You must conduct your business ethically, respecting the principles enshrined in the Constitution, including Section 17 (Social Objectives) regarding the equitable distribution of resources.
  • Fraudulent or dishonest behavior will not be tolerated and may be prosecuted under Nigerian law.

6. Professional Responsibility

  • You are responsible for all communications and negotiations with potential buyers or tenants.
  • You must respect the privacy and data protection rights of clients, as required by the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019.

7. Platform Usage

  • You may not use this platform for any activities prohibited by Nigerian law, such as money laundering or property fraud.
  • Unauthorized access to the platform or tampering with our systems is a criminal offense under the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc) Act, 2015.

8. Fees and Payments
